What is STOPtober?

STOPtober is the 28-day stop smoking challenge created to encourage smokers to give up cigarettes altogether. The challenge first came about in 2012 and focuses on the first stage of quitting smoking as this is the most difficult stage. You can start the STOPtober challenge at any point during October, not just the start. Based on the research and evidence, attempting the 28-day challenge means smokers are as much as 5 times likely to give up smoking for good.

Smoking can harm a person by affecting their heart, lungs, blood pressure etc. Quitting smoking reduces the risks of having heart attacks, lung cancer, impotence in men, osteoporosis in women, strokes, cancer in the mouth and throat, cancer in the stomach and more! If the health benefits aren’t enough for you, quitting smoking can also protect others around you especially babies, children and women who are pregnant.

How do I know what e-liquids to choose?

We have a fantastic range of over 50 flavours available, with something for everyone. We have 3 e-liquid ranges that are included in the bundle. Our most popular range, Made In England, are 50/50 e-liquids ranging from 0mg to 18mg with plenty of choices to choose from. Choosing your flavour is down to personal preference, but we can try help you with deciding what type of e-liquid and which strength to go for. First, we’ll simply explain 50/50 e-liquids and nicotine salts.
·      50/50 e-liquid contains 50% vegetable glycerine 50% propylene glycol ratio providing a balance between flavour and throat hit, delivering a similar experience to cigarette.
·      Nicotine salts are similar to 50/50 e-liquids but contain a lower PH level which produces faster nicotine absorption and a smoother throat hit at a higher strength. So, if you’re wanting a high nicotine level but don’t want a harsh hit, these are perfect for you.
 
Here’s a guide for which nicotine strength might be best for you:
·      0mg – Nicotine free option which is ideal for social smokers.
·      3mg – Low level nicotine suited for those who smoke a few cigarettes a day.
·      5-6mg – Suitable for those who smoke roughly half a pack a day.
·      10-12mg – For the average smoker who goes through a pack a day.
·      18-20mg – Highest level nicotine for those who smoke more than a pack a day.
